Man dies after London Marathon

I was just reading the results of the London Marathon this morning and there was a brief line that stated a 22 year old died after completion of the marathon. 22 years old. Someone so young is one I would not expect to die at a marathon.

The marathon had 36,000 participants with people coming from all around the world. I know people who run marathons who are in their 70's. I remember the first triathlon I did, during the run portion, I heard someone says "pick it up 21" as she breezed past me. In triathlons, your age is written on your calf so that is why she called me 21. As she was passing me, I looked down on her calf and she was 68!!

What I'm trying to say is that people generally believe the younger people are stronger, but that is not always the case. Its sad that someone so young was lost so early in their lives, but at least he accomplished something a very small percentage of the general population accomplish.

Yeah, good acomplishment. How many miles are in a triatholon anyway? I wanted to do a mini triatholon, but never followed through. I rode my bike from Rosarito to Ensenada though.
