I found a very interesting article.
A man lost his job as a high-school bus driver for Davie County Schools and was asked to leave the Cooleemee Volunteer Fire Department, because of his Web page of MySpace.com.
Check this out.

"Schools are monitoring what students communicate online, and the government is monitoring what law-abiding Americans everywhere are saying online," "All of this leads to a very chilling environment in which people are afraid that anything they say in cyberspace can be used against them, and this inhibits free speech on the Internet."
I wonder how much freedom we have on the internet, today. The article also shows a similar case in San Diego. I don’t know if monitoring is good or not, but I think it should not be the only reason to fire.

I hope a lawsuit arises from this. If he were practicing some religion that called for sacrificing children, then I could see a possible problem. Otherwise, what does it matter? Who is he hurting if he wants to worship nature? Why is this anyone's business but his?
I don't practice Wicca, but I believe in religious tolerance, and this story made me mad.
Thomas Jefferson said, "[N]o man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burthened in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer, on account of his religious opinions or belief; but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in matters of religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge, or affect their civil capacities."

I have no idea about Wicca or any religion things which associate with the reason why he has to be fired, but I just feel that MySpace cannot be the best factor to know what he is.
