IBM has upgraded the dual-processor server line with new low-wattage processors from Intel and Advanced Micro Devices, this was put in place so that the company can capitalize on the industry's growing interest in reducing electrical power usage. I thought this was good as we conserve energy now by our clocks being adjusted so we could have more light during the day. I thought what IBM just added to the fraction of conseving evergy is a great idea all to conserving energy.
