After the Virginia Tech Tragedy, GoDaddy reported many domain registrations related to the Virginia Tech Tragedy. An article says that some of these are well-intentioned organizations joining in the outpouring of support for the friends and family of the victims, but others are likely to be opportunists who want to cash in on the suffering of the others.

I can not believe how people could take advantage of the tragedy. Too many domain names are registered, but they have No relationship with the Virginia Tech Tragedy … and I am very sad about that.

I agree. I think it is very sad that some people try to profit from a tragedy such as the one that just occurred at Virginia Tech.
Everytime there is a tragedy, such as 9/11 or Hurricane Katrina, people try to profit from others misfortune. I wonder how they can sleep at night.
Yes… and people or organizations that really should use those kinds of domain names (not for business profits but some charities, counseling centers, or whatever) to help victims, their families, and their friends, can not use them. That makes me feel very sad, too.
