Ten steps to cell phone security

It is known that Americans love their cell phones but the Business Bureau reports that cell phone providers are the #1 cause for complaints. Lost cell phones can be used by others and you will be stuck having to pay the bill.
This year 600,000 phones will be reported lost or stolen, so here are some things you can do to avid your phone being lost and having fraudulent charges.
  1. Guard you cell phone like it was your wallet
  2. password-protect your device
  3. dont be fooled by cell phone insurance
  4. call your cell phone provider as soon as you discover the loss
  5. file a police report
  6. open an investigation with your provider
  7. contact the FCC
  8. contact your state attorney general's office
  9. contact your states's PUC
  10. when all else fails, contact the media
