The new language of business

I found an interesting article about a book that was recently published by IBM press named "The New Language of Business: SOA & Web 2.0". The book was written by Sandy Carter who is IBM's vice president of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web sphere strategy. The book closely applies to what we are learning, it advises companies how to achieve competitive advantage through SOA and links business objectives with IT technology. The Book stresses the importance of utilizing SOA in order to have a competitive advantage and to keep up with competitors. Another main topic in the book is the importance of business flexibility so you can keep up with the rapid change of technology and adapt to new business opportunities. this book seems interesting because it focuses on lots of the lessons we have learned in class.
