It was said that students were trying to email each other about the shooting in the dorms. But how often do we check our emails. And more so, how often are we in classes with internet access to check our messages. And with so many chain letters and false "bulletins", how often do we believe what someone posts on Myspace. Therefore, I would like to take this time to post about the play of information technology in the Virginia Tech Massacre. I have just found an article about how individuals are using Myspace and Facebook to find their friends and family member. It is sad and tragic. The article shows the power of information technology.
