An article I read commented on how the American Idol contestant Sanjaya's popularity has increased among the blogging world. Granted the comments are not all good, people are still creating posts about him. I found this interesting as the show itself does incorporate technology for the viewer. The viewers vote by text messaging or calling. The contestants are found all over the internet and are obviously discussed in blogs. Soon we will not be able to watch TV without secondary and tirtiary forms of technology being used. I just think it's funny how much our lives are coming to revolve around technology. Going on the web and getting updates on the contestants replaces reading in magazines. Does no one care for literacy anymore?
